a diff question
ive got a live axel rear diff and a vt irs lsd, i am asking if the lsd center out of the irs diff will go into the live axel diff, another quiz? are the axel splines the same?
im looking at taking the diffs to the auto tranmision guys 2moz and he had know idea?
from what i heard it would but after talking to these guys on the phone today im unsure? but the gears from the vr diffs fit the vt's ect.
the diff is out of an early model 5.7 vt auto

the vt irs lsd i'm pretty sure it wont fit, the splines are the same though

what about a vr/vs irs will the guts of that go in a live axel diff?

Yes it will.....I went the other way and put a Live axle VN centre into my IRS clubsport....
Tasmania....Coz 2 heads are better than one...

yeh but arnt the diff centers bigger on the vt ss? i know the gears will bolt on the vr/vs is the 78 series diff but isnt the vt ss diff an 80 series diff?
