I know this is probably a stupid question, I know windex on the tint side of the window is bad, but will it do any damage to the non-tint side? and would metho and water mix be ok to clean the tint side with?
Cheers
I use a water and vinegar mix to clean windows, basically a slurp of vinegar in a spray bottle with water. it won't harm anything but will clean the windows up a treat.
I really don't know if metho and water is ok or what the deal is there, but i've used vinegar and water on my tinted windows without any dramas for years.
Quagmire: My fellow Americans, I have not been entirely truthful with you. I did gagoogidy that girl. I gashmoygadied her gaflavity with my googus. And I am sorry.
Thanks mate! I should have thought of that, the Mrs has a spray bottle of it made up and uses that on some the benches because the ants hate vinegar.
Mr Sheen is good for the inside of tinted windows. As well as cleaning it leaves a residue that lubricates the tint helping to avoid scratches.
Anything that is ammonia based stay away from!! But anything alchohol based is fine! You can use metho with water or meguiars window cleaner that i have is fine, but just check on the back!
