Hi, what's the most likely cause for the right rear door to not be 'connected' to the central locking when presesd on the key or unlocking another door manually? If you pull up the door lock on the 'broken' door, all the other doors open so I assume its not ocmpletely screwed.... thanks
Dunno why but that door features prominently. Does it feel stiffer to pull up than the one on the other side? - if so then its probably gummed up - free with WD40. Otherwise I know the wires can break inside the door and to the pillar - check by using a multimeter across the actuator and see if there are volts (momentarily) when the doors are locked.
it'll be something real simple, but no matter what its trim off. worst case scenario is the actuator is broken.

or the accuator motor is knacked my lh rear door is doing the same thing works on realy hot days
Happened to mine a while ago. Take of the door trim and grease up all moving parts to do with the locking mechanism. This is what I did and it hasn't stuffed up yet and that was about 2 years ago. It wouldn't lock with the remote but if I locked it manually then locked the car with the remote it would stay locked and all others would lock. But when I went to unlock it they would all unlock no probs.
I hve this problem too....only mine alternates :S
Sometimes that back drivers side doesn't lock when I press the key button, or turn the key ( the key is playing silly buggers at the moment), so I open that door and manually press the button down....next time i get outta the car, the back drivers side locks fine but the back passengers doesn't lock...so have to manually press that button down tooIts very frustrating...I've become accustomed to doing the walk around when I get out of the car now, to ensure all doors are locked.
Would love to know what causes this....its driving me insane and I look like a dick walking around the car every time I get out :$
mine has just started doing this today too, unlocks fine like the rest but doesnt lock. i can see it moving a bit when i press lock so it must just need freeing up. will take the door trim off tomorrow and have a look with some wd40.

as most of the above have said, trim off and check, wd40 if need or replace actuator or loom.
i have the problem with the red tab, one side of the clip is broken and catches on the lock surround, quick push in and she works fine until it pops out again. check this if ur lazy before rippen the trim off![]()
i had this problem too with my drivers side back door. The locking pin (aftermarket skull pins) just needed the slightest bit of pressure to the side or front and it wouldnt go down, as a quick fix i unplugged the central locking mechanism inside the door (had trims off already) and just keep it locked all the time :-D no one ever uses that door anyways and i dont need to remember to push the lock down everytime i get out.
i fixed mine yesterday just by grabbing the lock and pushing it up and down about 20 times nice and hard. freed it up nicely and works every time now.

this seems to be a problem thats comming up a lot lately as i've done five in the last few weeks the only way to fix this is to replace the locking motor in the door
my motor's ware working because i can see the plastic lock moving when i press the button. but mine is fixed now, just needed a bit of freeing up
