rev and speedo problem

wen i rev my vr my speedo goes up wen the rev gauge hits 2500 rmp wen i am in park and the car not goin anywhere. lose wire or anything???

Hey i think i have the same problem as you but different scenario. I was driving along at 60km/h then all of a sudden my speedo drop down to zero and i was gettin a loud shuddering from underneath the car and it wouldn't accelerate, i pulled over, turned the car off and looked underneath, saw nothing, turned the car back on and it was fine. then again the other morning, got it my car then drove down a hill and the speedo wasn't working and my car wouldn't shift out of first, reved it to about 3000 took my foot off the accelerator and it shifted then the engine light came on but then wouldn't shift down to first. Got to work and and the car was parked for about 5 hours then got back in it and it was fine.

Anyway i just got a different transmission put in a week ago and when we connected the speedo wire that goes to the transmission there was no plug and we just had to connect the wires pretty dodgy. We are going to get the plug and connect it up properly today so i will let you know if i have any problems once the wire is connected properly.

yeh same problem with mine dunno why though as it does it at a steady 2500-300rpm in mine
