removing outside drivers door lock>?

hey all i need some help on removing a drivers side door lock because i lost my keys holden have given me a wrong code to cut the new key and now i have to get it custom built up yay absoloutly fricken awsume

Much easier to remove the boot lid lock as you don't have to remove the door trim, cables and lock. Just open the boot and have a look thru the inspection holes - takes about 52 seconds to slide the clips off..

yeh as said get away with the bootlock so easy to take off if not.

you have to take of your door trim so u can get to the inside of the door handle and then release the pin wich keeps the door handles together which is a fair pain in the ass but not to bad. on the other hadn putting the handle back in as an absoloute cnt if uve never done it b4

ok so i have the door trim off and im lookin for the seprating pin aand stuck again could you send me a photo or something?

If it's not too late, the clip slides along the handle components parallel to the door skin. It looks like a big hairpin and is about 100mm long. Use a flat blade screwdriver to slide it out. They can be pretty tight so be aware of sharp stuff in the path of your hand when it lets go.
