Default ........................Front wheel sealed bearings question.........................

I went down to a motor spare parts place and wanted to buy 2 front wheel bearings.
Was told the price is $285 per side as the VS has sealed bearing.
Ended up at the wreckers and got a pair for $200 including rotors..

Some one told me that these come in a left and right hand sets and should be marked.
I had a good look over them and could not find any printed markings showing anything different..
Or will only a left fit on the left hand side due to bolt on pattern.
    Any info..??

I'm fairly sure that if you have ABS if you place it on the wheel studs on the ground and face the two close bolts towards you with the third bolt facing up, then the abs sensor plug is on the left for the LHS hub and on the right for the RHS hub.

There's probably no difference between left and right then but not 100% sure on that.

Vehicles without ABS have the same part number for LH & RH hubs. Vehicles with ABS (whether 5 link or IRS) have different part numbers for LH and RH hubs. Since you don't have ABS, you need to make sure that your hubs came from a vehicle without ABS.

If the hubs were designed for ABS they will have an electrical connector fitted.....no connector = no ABS.

The VS I got has stock standard sealed bearings and that’s what I purchased..the same type.
Only wanted to know if there is a left or right being sold .
Or was the information supplied is only for ABS type cars

If you don't have ABS and you got them off a car that didn't have ABS then there is no difference left or right. Just sit them side by side and if they both look identical then your sweet.
