i can get a vt irs diff for 50 bucks and i just want it as a carrier as im rebuilding a diff completly lsd centre new bearings crwon wheel and pinion the lot
i have a vs s pac irs rear end are they all the same as i want to rebuild the vt one and then do a straight swap when its fully rebuilt so theres no time off the road apart form taking old diff out adn putting rebuilt one in.
any help would be great

haha thats my diff...well i dont know the answer to ur question but i do remember when i asked about putting a VX one into my VT i got a reply listing evey difference from VS to VX..il try find it for ya

There you go..if u can deciper it i think they are saying they are the same but maybe the VT is a bit bigger...the one i was selling was series 1 anyway. And then again the said VX was bigger than VT but the VX one i fitted to my VT bolted straight in

if the flange on the VT diff (driveshaft end) is the same as your VS diff flange, then yes its a straight swap.
if the flange is a 3 bolt then you'll have to get that removed and replaced and modified with a 4bolt flange (like ur VS one).
tyre fryer would u be able to help out here is it a 3 bolt or 4 bolt i now have parts here so would be keen on getting it off u soon as possible
Just went out and had a look and its a 4 bolt so it should bolt straight in
