is my car IRS or non IRS please help

hey i need to know wether my car is irs or non irs ( independent rear suspension) its a 1995 model 5.0L VS executive, i use to know but know i forgot, u use to look at the diff for something. plz help as i just bought new Damn low springs of ebay and need to tell the seller!

dude, if your gonna ask that question you gotta post a pic of your diff at least, or check out one of the other posts that have asked the same question and compare.

Are there any stickers on the dash that say ABS/IRS , or Radial tuned suspension or anyting ?

its a exec. its not irs dude.


look under it... if it has a diff or if it has a box with two indiviual arms coming out of it on a angle.

but exec + radial tuned suspension = normal diff non irs

irs shorter and will look narrower on each end. normal springs are usually longer and same dimension all the way. whats the ebay link

well this a 3.9 LSD i might have to take a photo back in 5 mins if i can get under my car!

and unless its a BT1 I bet it would be non-irs as above.
(I have VR 5.0L exec BT1 and it has LSD, IRS)

regardless of the ratio, its either IRS or live. the ratio are for the gears inside the housing.

i could barely get under my car so these are the best pics i could get without getting the old un faithfull holden jack out. yeah its a 3.9 lsd heres the link u asked for there custom springs lowers ur car 3.5 inches or even lower
