    Default VR vibration

My VR gets a mild vibration through the steering wheel at 100kph.
Ive just had new Michelin Energy 205x65x15 fitted. I presume they were balanced(I may have to have it rechecked).

The vibration was there before the tyres went on.

Any ideas what else can cause vibration? Steering feels tight,no slop or clunks.
I do need new shocks but I dont think that would affect it

My VR is the same. I also would like to know what causes it. I have 235/45/17's on mine. Tyres were balanced and aligned and still the same. I am looking at my suspension next but what on the suspension could cause this?

A slight amount of play in the tierod ends or the rackends can cause this problem. You can test by raising each front wheel and place a hand on the wheel at 3 o'clock and the other hand at 9 o'clock and try and move the wheel sideways - there should be no play.

Same problem with my VR ute. I reckon hako is on the money because i had my shocks and struts replaced only about 6 months ago and the problem still occurs. I will try what he suggested and post the results!
