Default vn 5 speed to a vs v6 auto

just questioning if a vn v6 5speed box would fit into my vs series II which is currently auto??
Also wat mods would i need to do?
ive also been told that factory fitted vn manuals had a different motor then the auto something about the crank? is this the same with the vs?

Yes, if the vn is a series 2 (8 bolt flywheel not 6). It is strongly recommended to get the flywheel 'mirror balanced' to your current auto flex plate that you have since it's coming from a totally different motor so it's a completely different balance.
