hey all ,
i have a quick question i have a vs commodore lowered with king springs ultra lows in the rear and king spring super lows in the front , does any one have the front lip that came of the s or the ss on a lowered VS ?
does it bottom out too much or is it okay
pretty much all i wont to know is , is the car too low olready and by adding that will it just rip of and crack the instant i go into my driveway
cheers all thanks for your input in advance
I have VP SS kit, which would be a similar height.
It never bottoms out, but when parking, i never park over the concrete stops. It could make it over, but i never risk it, as not all are the same heights.

If you are talking Kings springs then they go as this:
Only commodores that use SSSL are VE's.
Ultra lows for VB-VZ are mostly suffixed with SSL (KH**##SSL)
super lows (KH**##SL)
Lows (KH*L##) [the L maybe R in lowered rears]

this is what confuses me, i have seen a few sets of springs with sssl on em and they havent been VE springs either, but like you linked the kings catalog states otherwise.
It's a common mistake that a lot of people think the ultra lows to be SSSL but as shown in the catalogue no VB-VZ uses SSSL in its part number and most of the ultra lows are shown as SSL and sometimes SL/HD.
I know in the IRS commies that people do use other cars springs to get them lower like Camira and BMW and maybe they have SSSL, haven't looked my self.

i got full ss kit, and pedders lowered springs. Be careful of gutters when parking, but other then that it's no drama. Only scraped the front once on a driveway. But I scraped the rear bar and exhaust tip as well. It was a stupidly steep driveway in combination with the camber of the road and a narrow entrance (couldn't go in angled).
ok found it, sssl's
