    Default cost of fixing/replacing diff?

my diff is starting to get a bit noisy and was just wondering how much it'd be to fix/replace? and also how much would it be to get an lsd put in?

not 100% sure but i think your diff gears the problem unless you take off the cover n have a look at the gear, cause bearing noise do this all the time where as gear noise started when you reach 60 n above.

i went to sa race and sam hooked me up with a fully customised lsd diff new axles, retensioned it to 180ftlbs(standard=85ftlbs)but it was costly at around $1700 but it works so well no effort required.

its probably the bearings that are wearing out, its a common problem in commodore irs's...will probably need a rebuild or if you dont have the money just get a second handy off ebay or wreckers and hope thats fine

I got worn out second hand LSD for $150 that was only spinning one wheel. Did a bit of research and shimmed it up myself for free. Tight as anything when I got it in the car.
