Default VS Series 1 Stato HElp & Ideas

    HEy guys,

Just in the process of purchasing this.
Just wondering what mods you guys recommend?

The car is 1 owner, all service history, everything is original.

First plans are to get a series 3 rear garnish & lights.
Can anyone offer info where to buy one?
(i work at holden, do they sell them new?)

    Tinted windows

    Lowered.
Can any offer assistance on what springs would be good?
    and a rough price?

    and

    2 1/2 inch exhaust.

Wheels are on the list when i get some $$ together

For the garnish, try ebay. Thr is always some on ebay, just depends how much u want to spend.

Lowering, kings are good. Are u doing shocks aswell??
Some tyre places will do lowering (just springs) for around the $350-$400
(or do it ya self) (thats them supplyinf the springs, but if u supply, it should only be abt $60-$80 per end of car)

as for exhaust try here. Exhaust Shop .Com.au the warehouse/shop is located in carrum downs.
dont worry, il start a ride thread soon.

series 3 garnish are 800 from holden lol.but if u have a look on ebay u should be able to pick 1 up for about 250-400.and get king springs for 150 a set get ultra lows in the rear and super lows in front and i can even put the back ones in for ya coz there piss easy.thats my opinion tho.

    Thumbs up

if your stato is a series one 5 litre get a series 2 v8 cold air intake , snorkel and airbox top also the intake hose from airbox to throttlebody. you can enlarge the opening in the airbox bottom to suit the snorkel. this will let the engine breathe better with a 2 and a half inch exhaust. then get a greenfoam chip tune to suit your engine and to run on premium 95 petrol. oh yeah nearly forgot, get a k & n panel air filter . i guarantee you will be really happy , the engine will sound meaner and have heaps more mid range and high range power......
