VR Series II Questions

Hey guys,
I Have a 1995 VR II Series Executive, got sum question below need to be answrd!

1. I have undone the throttle body now i have a problem getting it back togehter. I know where the two hooks go but where to the two Strait Pins go behind the metal bit or?? (ILL LOAD PICS ON REQUEST)

2. I want to put a POD filter in now what is the best to put in and what size do i need?

3. Is it illegal to have 19" VE GTS Clubby Fake Rims on front and Stockies on back?

4. My car is sitting at idle on 300rpm should be 700rpm, How do i get it to 700rpm what do i have to fiddle with??

Don't get a pod filter. Do a search for air intakes, it has been covered lots, and there are much cheaper ways that enable more power.

k thanx for the advice, what other ways can i get power out of my engine apart from a pod filter!!?? examples?

exhaust, usually a 2.5" cat back does the trick, extractors (lukey or pacemakers), greenfoam tune, helps a little more with bigger leads eg. 10mm, a high flow cat can help but for $180, it will only add probably 5kw, after those things its pretty much internal from there

ok my mate told me to get a 2" as louder and better i dont get it wats .5" gonna do??

Also would a K&N Air filter in the box be better than a pod for the air to breath or??

iv got already pacemaker extractors but also wat is a greenfoam tune lol...

nah 2" jst doesnt hit the spot, 2.5" does its not overly loud but its a nice tone, the .5" extra just well lets just say it flows better and its a common size used today in cars. K&N airfilter will work, if you bother getting down to those specifics you'd want to be looking for a CAI too (Cold air intake) can snatch these off ebay for around $80 or go to a wrecking yard with some luck, with the greenfoam tune, greenfoam himself is pretty busy these days, be sure to be paitient when sending in your memcal to get mod'd

Search around, the question is asked every week. Plenty of info out there, most guys just cant be bothered writing a full list each time the question is asked.
