231-088 is the part number, its a 1/4 thread. VDO brand.
cheaper to get it in nz mate as postage will cost more than the t piece itself
hope thats been some help

thanks again!
1 more question tho
obviously im only gunna have the aftermarket pressure and temp sender attached to the engine, what do i do with the old stock sender? and will the oil light be constantly on on the dash?

or new brian wave!
can i rewire it so the new aftermarket sender is wired not only to the oil pressure gauge but also to the stock oil pressure sender and thus the ecu and oil pressure light??

get a t piece, put the factory sender in the top of it and put your aftermarket gauge line in teh side of it ...
search for my ute and u will see where i mounted my gauges

id say you will need to run a sandwhich plate man. maybe try a different oil filter on teh sandwhich plate

dont see why u cant run a T piece where the original oil sender is and have ur aftermarket one hanging off the side?
he is running a t piece with factory sender and pressure gauge, but wants oil temp as well. u needa use teh sandwhich plate

missed oil temp, was thinking coolent temp, run a + adaptor?
EDIT:thinking about it, a sandwhich plate is the better option

yup it sure is, the only problem is that with the sandwitch plate on it the oil filter dosent fit, cuz the male part of the adapter is to long and the filter wont line up (engine mounts are in the way)
and before you say get it cut down, i allready have, by 5mm and it still to long (i dont wanna trim it down any further)
so im back to square 1 - slaming myhead into a wall that is

i allways put oil temp in the sump with a threaded bung.you would need good fresh flowing oil going past the oil temp sender to actually get a reading in the T-peice is just stagnant non moving oil so i dont think you would get any worthy figures from it.T-peices can be had from engineers shop or hydrolink mate cheap as.can join as many together as you need for outlets.
so its either drill a hole in the sump and thread it for the temp sender or, use a sandwitch adapter?
ive allready got the sandwitch adapter but its fitting the all important oil filter thats the big problem!

will the filter fit in there once its on.maybe just fit it up with the mount loosened off then put the mount back on
tryd it, but i cant get the 2 on tight enough, i dont wanna run any risks of it being 2 lose

i agree with delcowizzid... oil temp in the sump with a threaded bung
how hard/dangerious is it to DIY?

highly reccomend to get it done by a mechanic man

u'd wanna remove the sump from the engine, as you dont want any metal bits flowing round your engine thats for sure. some ppl have poored old oil or really thin oil thru it whilst drilling to flush the shards away, but i just wouldnt trust it. remove it, drill/tap it, clean and reinstall or take it to a mechanic, although i cant garrentee that he wont drill it still attached to the engine.
dont see why u cant use a T piece or 2 of em, u will get a good reading and although you wont get a heap of oil flowing in there it'll still be accurate.
