Hey guys,
Winter is comming up and more cold humid days....which got me worried about spraying my interior of my VS! Well, I bought a plastic primer, silver plastic paint and a top coat. I read all da instructions on each of them and found simliar things - They all say I should not spray on humid cold temperature which will cause dulling of da finish.
Well I'm not going to wait days for good weather to come so is it alrite if I spray and use mum's hair drier to blow dry air or is it goin to affect da finish?
I heard many says that da instruction is bullshit so which means is it alrite if I spray in bad cold weather in my garage?(I have an open garage)
Is it true that cold air affect da finish on plastic parts?
cold weather can give you a milky finish wich normally can be polished out with a light sand and polish but you wouldnt want to be doing that with plastic bits also the paint in the cans will always give a duller finish just because of the make up of the stuff in them. I wood be carefull using the hair dryer on them you could do it but you dont want to do it too quick could cause paint to lift or blister say do it on the lower setting and keep it abouta foot away keep moving it around to gently bring the tempreture up in a uniform patern.
