VS commodore interior

can some one please help me, i have a 95 vs commodore which im wanting to paint the centre console n the oval grey bit near the cluster. would i have to prime it 1st? and for someone who has taken the door trims off i want to do that but how do you get all the gluey shit off without scraping paint off lol.

Id use wax and grease removal first then prime then paint then prime .. of course a few coats of each

Ye you have to get a plastic primer and you also have to use clear coat so it doesnt scratch. Dont know about the door trims sorry

clean it with acetone.prime it , rub it back, paint .

or dont paint it as they rarely look good and just fit calais center
