    Default Which Spark Plugs/Leads

Hey all, i'm replacing my spark plugs/leads and i was thinking bosch fusion iridium spark plugs and top gun 10mm leads, can someone point my in the right direction, are there better plugs/leads out there for around this price? What does everyone use?
    Cheers

hey mate. Have a search for spark plugs on here. Most people say that normal spark plugs are just as good as the new expensive ones, they just don't last quite as long. As for leads i'd say if you are running standard coils you don't need 10mm leads.
I am running 8mm Magnecor sports leads and the regular bosch plugs that cost me $5 for a pack of 6 from supacheap on sale. I change the plugs about every 2 years but they would last longer if i let them.

Four prong sparkplugs...are they the latest? - the Sphinx has 6 prongs and the FanFlame has 6 blades that actually rotate. Both from 1919.

Stronger coils give you a stronger spark at the plugs, that gives you more power ... Then you can fit the 10mm leads if you want.

they kinda look like that haha looks like its old technology though they say the latest
Here's a pix of the Bosch plug from 1919 which looks pretty similar - it's the second from the left on the bottom row. You'd think that after 90 years they could be a bit more "inventive"

from what i hear, best options are coils holden put on supercharged V6's. you can get these from Holden dealers or wreckers if you are lucky, or MSD coils which i have seen in autobarn catalogues for around $80 each ( you need 3 of them ). I'm still using the standard coils, but if u want more power its something to think about....

If you need to do spark plugs and leads, just do them, dont worry about the coils. I use whatever spark plugs and leads come in a pack at supercheap and have never had a problem with them.

When my coil pack died I replaced the set with a set of msd coils. I wouldnt bother replacing them unless you did have a faulty one though. I didnt notice any difference, although the magazine articles show some slight improvement http://tinyurl.com/d43znl.

Yeah just get some NGK plugs, the'll cost about $25 and some normal leads about $60.

I use to put iridiums in my wrx but i use to change them too often there was no point.
    Apparently they last longer.
