    Default weird instrument lighting problem

Hi all, i have a vr acclaim and have an issue with the instrument lighting. Most of them dont work, including A/C button, auto selector, heater controls, around cig lighter and the speedo and fuel/temp lights. The bits that do work are the hazard light button and one globe near the tacho... checked all the fuses and ok, exterior parkers and normal light all work. Got me stumped as i would think that they would either all be on or all be off... any help appreciated, cheers

Did they all start playing up at once or have you only just acquired the car? I would start by replacing one bulb. If that fixes it you know they just need replacing. If it doesnt fix it, you can start looking for wiring faults.
