Default Replacing VS air con compressor

My air con compressor's clutch shat itself this afternoon, and started smoking up the drive belt.

Any tips on how to replace the compressor, and should I replace the drive belt as well.

    Any help will be welcomed.

Maybe you just need a new pulley bearing and not a new compressor. Take the belt off and see if you can turn the pulley by hand.

I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.

only thing I know is that if it is still gassed up you really shouldn't touch it.

If it 'started smoking the belt' when the aircon was turned on it would indicate the compressor has seized solid. However if it happened with the aircon off then its probably just the clutch bearing that has failed - it can be removed from the compressor without de-gassing.
