    Default Issue's after lowering

    G'day guys...
this is yet another lowering thread, but i need some diagnosis on a recently found issue...

So i lowered the rear end of my car over the weekend from raised heavy duties to lowered SL Kings... This proved to be an very very easy job as this was my first time doing so...
Anyways springs went in fine, now when i drive around i get like this clunking sound from the rear left, after some fiddling around around, and working out how and where the noise is comming from it seems to only make the noise going over bumps not corners or anything like that...
So i take off the Rear left wheel yesterday and have a little poke around, the spring remains nice and snug the shocker rods are nice and tight, but i then noticed that the bump stops have been getting a little bit of a work out...
But this to me would seem strange on a live axel car that only one side of the car is being affected with only one of the bump stops being hit, where as the other hasn't touched at all yet...
So anyway could this be a shot shocker? or?

    Thanks for your replies

Hey mate, i'm not sure if my VR would be the same as your VS but the same happened to me everytime i went over a bump heard a clunk from the rear left. It worked out to be my exhaust banging on one of the bars that run between the two rear wheels. I just hung my exhaust a bit higher and this fixed it.

Well the rubbers i had were worn and stretched so for a temporary thing i just used cable ties then i got some new rubbers which were shorter cause they were new. I only had to hang the rear muffler higher not the whole system.

Yeah not sure if i really need one, i mean my wheels don't rub, and there'd very little play with the movements of the back end...
basically there's a clunking sound like something is hitting, or wobbling around, like the exhaust is hitting the lower control arm or something? i don't know?
