    Default Cold Air Induction

    Any particular brand/suggestions of good Cold Air Intake systems

    I've found this one, don't know if it's any good. Let me know what you think.

    nice and neat, looks good but check out the price what a rip off. to tell you the truth i would be more keen on buying the cold air induction that came standard with the vs supercharged. You can pick them up from your local holden dealership for about $120(thats how much i paid from holden) pretty cheap considering its from holden

    they still sell CAI for Supercharged VS's?

    I picked mine up from Holden for $60, but I had to customize the air box myself.



    Will get some more pics of the air box tomorrow if you like

    Yeah suprisingly hamatime mines similer to mumbomans except mines the full length of radiator

    ah fair enough, yeah more pictures would be appreciated

    I have the stock S Pack air induction system so is that any different to the s/charged one?

    any other good after market CAI systems, not just an average one but a good one...

    i'll post a pic of mine tomorrow, mine is the supercharge 6 cai but it sits alot wider than the one in the photo it sits from the radiator cap to the radiator top hose on the left

    hey man i got my pod enclosure from then and it works awsome as, better then then the OTR i had

    all up i paid about $80 for the kit from dealer... and $90 for the K&N filter with cleaning kit included.

    That one shown above is the VR/VS V8 OTR CAI.
    The supercharged V6 CAI is actually bigger than that one as shown below and doesn't have that squashed section where the bonnet release is.
    The V8 CAI is like that because the belt driven V8 fan shroud is much larger than the electric V6 fan shroud.
    Also the SC V6 CAI goes right across the top of the radiator.

    Those CAI kits a pretty good piece of gear and work well, too well for my tastes as I like the stealth approach and the inlet hiss and roar was little too loud for how I want it but it fitted well and did everything it says it does.
