    Default Power window problem

    I have a Executive.....and a Calais (No engine or gear box)........

    they are both VR's.....

    My Problem is....i dont know what i have to pull out of the Calais and put into the executive to make the power windows work??

    like i want to transfer the power windows from the Calais to the Executive.....


    what do i need?....

    like wiring loom?....or harness?...or......? anything like that?

    or......will it plug into somewhere.....?


    im not to sure....and the "How-To" section didnt really tell me

    Depends on your model... some execs have the complete wiring, some have just part of it.

    Check if the both sides of where you put the power window fuse has contacts.

    I'm pretty sure someone said it depends on if you have IRS or not.

    ok so i just checked and it only has one side of where you put the fuse.....so what does that mean?....what do i have to change in the car???

    New Fuse connector and fuse, Higher level BCM OR a power window module from a VN/P (if you want the auto wind function for the drivers door), Some door wiring looms, The wiring for the center console. That's all I can think of.
    A circuit breaker would come in handy, too.

    thanks buddy......do you know how much the BCM would be?....and i thought series 2 BCM could handle power windows....?

    If it's an exec, it should be a "LOW" BCM which dosn't do windows.
    Personally i'm in the middle of doing my windows, and I don't have any plans in changing the BCM or getting a power window module as all it controls is auto-up and auto-down functions
    Then again, I'm not even using a loom, making my own lol
    I can confirm that the Series II has a low BCM as we were looking at it yesterday (my wifes has Series II)
