Hey im in the process of purchasing a VS Vacationer... Now the old owner has told me that the main set of keys will unclock/start the car perfectly.. whereas the spare set will only unlock the car.. wont actually start it? any ideas as to what the problem is so i can sort it out straight away?
Cheers
Yeh the spare key most likely dosn't have the keyhead (remote), and is just a key.
Therefore, it won't have the included immobiliser functions.

My Holden doesn't leak, It's just marking it's territory!
Oh, If it has the key head, then it might be a flat battery! :-)

ohh so is there a seperate battery for the remote unlock and the ignition?
yeah dude thats the same with my vs, my spare doesnt start it only unlocks it
Its annoying ay lol.. So the keys have 2 battery's in them? one for the remote and one for the ignition?
1 battery, I think they might mean that the spare key maybe dosnt have a keyhead. Any way just take the good keys to your nearest Mr Mint and get 1 cut and a new Keyhead about $75 last time I got 1 done.
