Default Blow of Valve on a NA with shift kit

Hello, i have a VR commodore V6 auto, no turbo, no supercharger thanks to the stupid new laws. I am looking at getting a stage 2 or 3 shift kit which would be better?. also theres a person in my town that has a VY with no turbo or supercharger but has a blow of valve, he told me it works of the pressure built up by the shift kit.. how does this work? can i put one on mine!?

That's the gayest thing i have ever heard

If you want a BOV that badly, wait till you get off your P's and put a T28 turbo, or a blower on, then you can legitimately have a BOV.

not sure if this would work but maybe you could put a compressor and tank in your car, buy a bov and squirt some air into the bov hahaha

i have a setup you could buy that would allow you to have a BOV on there and get the sound youre after. comes with a supercharger attached to it though

Something different? Lol, it's not a good different, and without a turbo or blower noise coming from your car, everyone will think you are a bloody twit. Why not just buy one of those stupid speakers off ebay that you bolt underneath your car that make fake turbo noises? Same thing really.....

What they are all saying is dont do it. Just save your cash, and put it towards something more worth while.

Shift kit ok, but dont go the BOV. and also smack the shit outa the other guy in your town with one on his car.
dont worry, il start a ride thread soon.

Well... It works when the turbo is coming off boost cos you closed the throttle but yeah, basically. No turbo or supercharger no real bov. Ever.

It's just pure wank factor if you put a speaker that makes the sounds on or weld one in to pretend you have a "fully sick bra" car.

maybe this is the guy's way of 'doing his homework'?
after all, if i wanted to do something like this, i'd do my homework on it.

VRstealth, once you understand WHAT a blow off valve does, then you will look back and have a chuckle at yourself and be empowered to laugh at the other butt-picking chimp with the N/A VY.

By all means, get a shift kit fitted though, it's a sensible option.

LOL, the only wya you can achieve a "blow off valve sound" is by slapping a snail or a blower on it OR getting one of them crappy/homo ebay special jobs that make it sound like you have one when you dont...

Dont forget about how the cop will rape you (anal) if he hears a blow off valve from a car you are driving (since your not allowed)......

He would probably just take points and give you a fine, not worth it....
