    Default LSD for me VR

    i have a VR V6 live axel.. i want LSD, can i get one off a earlier or later model commodore? do i just need to replace the centre part or the whole diff?

    not quite sure how all this works, are the diff gears in the LSD? if i get different diff gears say 3.9s and i want an LSD do i put them in it or !? im :S

    i did this not long ago and its not too hard to do by yourself if you are just changing the centre, cost me $300 for a reconditioned lsd from a vl turbo and $50 for lsd oil, new gasket, lsd additive and some gasket sealent. you will need a rattle gun to get the crownwheel bolts out, i just borrowed one.

    not hard to get the bolts out without a rattle gun

    they were for me lol didnt really have a decent workbench or vice, just worked easier for me
