Vs electric aerial keeps braking masts

I have replaced the mast twice and it keeps doing the same thing, goes fine for couple of weeks and then stops half way and makes a clicking noise and does't seem to be anything wrong with mast.
Does any one know if there is another problem or is the motor buggered and i should just replace the whole thing?

Try replacing the whole thing ,sounds like something is jaming especialy if it is starting to "rachet" but they dont usually do that until they are fully extended and try to over extend
