increased fuel consupmtion

I've recently got my car back from the panel beater and gthe last few days it seems to have used a lot more fuel than normal, the car ran out of fuel while it was there I don't know if this is of any relevance also I've noticed it misfiring the last couple of days again I don't know it ifs of any relevance any advice would greatly apprecitated

If it ran out of fuel it probably sucked up all the dregs at the bottom of the tank - the filter should have removed this junk but some always seems to get thru. I'd throw a can on injector cleaner thru the system and also check for any logged codes:

i would be first checking ur error codes to see if its logged any codes that could point us in the right direction. could have gotten shit from the bottom of the tank thats clogged up the fuel filter.

there has been a few threads on this that a quick search should bring em up.
