how could i install the fuel warning light?

how could i install the fuel warning light on dash cluster ?? on Vr commodore??
i was try to put light goble on fuel warning light but wont work..
so how could i can do it ?? need to ring holden to explain it or not??

need more info dude, are you trying to run 2 wires of the back of the factory circuit board on the dash cluster where the standard low fuel light globe is

read teh back of the cluster on the green board. it tells u what each wire is

Cheapest way would be to install a Speed Alert module ($5 on ebay), I'm pretty sure that will give you fuel light.

I added a trip computer and Level 3 cluster for it :P

there is a kit available at JayCar that works. I installed one in my V6 years ago.

the a prebuilt kit would be the easiest way. dont know if Dick Smith have a kit for low fuel u could build it urself.

u would need to find out the resistance of the sender unit say for the 10ltrs left mark, which would then light up the led or globe. in any case u would need to tweak the kit to customise it
