Rims for a vs?

looking for some suggestions on what rims to chuck on my vs,
i was thinking a set of bboss eleanors, but just about every 2nd person has em down here
pics would be nice

i'd suggest checking out the 'My Ride - VR-VS' and having a look at all the rides in there. will give u a good heads up on the VR-VS shape with almost every rim made, and some of those hard to find rims.

personally love the vx calais international 17s, they come up very nice
also the ve ssv rim looks the good, and thats probley what ill head to look at in the 18s

VZ R8's are the best. I personally really like VT GTS's but thats because I'm biased...i have them

yeah they do look sick, the vs in question is burgundy

depends wether you want bling or tough, i personally like the osaka wheels with the black dish and the silver faces, plenty of styles, dunno how they would go with burgundy, maybe try some WH grange 18's, champagne n burgundy go well i think, or a set of SV99's, my favs

hey man, Not really into the whole "bling" look on commodores, as for the osaka's, they do it for me, but dunno how they would look on mine, Im imagining crap. il try get a picture of the car tonight.

Hi, here is a suggestion of rims that i myself are contemplating for my VR .... I bought the 'monza' rims for my wife's toyota Avalon Grande and they look great on her car....but not suited to the VR i think.
These rims have proven to be excellent quality, they are somewhat neglected but when cleaned they come up as new.... it is the mirror paint finish that is awsome.
The style i am buying for my VR is the 'Sanremo' in the 18" which also has the mirror paint finish... but i am not sure what they would look like on....

OP and others....how do you think they will look on the VR/VS shape.

They are expensive but i like them.

As i mentioned the mirrow paint finish shines up realllly nice.... my vr is a burgendy or masai red in colour and lowered.... really need to see it photoshoped to get a decent vision of it though.

hmm... dont know how to link the photo to here but it is easy to find using the using the 'search' function ... type in my username and highlight the 'my ride' section and hit search, it comes up right there. not very good photo's though... the first one is when it's not yet lowered.

i would go somethign from a later model commodore i have a vs with vy clubby wheels i like em. as ur nto into the whoe bling look something from a newer car would proablly be the best theres a place who sell all the commy rims there dear but u seem to have the cash
i got my vy clubby rims for 600 with decent tyres but they had a few gutter scrapes.

Yea i have got a White VS 95 Model and i have 19" VE GTS Rims on mine with low profile tyres, the bak has SSL's and it looks ***in sik and tough!

thers a joint in greensboruough just found on internet Direct Wheels they have all fakes and genuine holden and hsv rims and all other rims! with tyres u can get a package with second genuines for bout $1400
