Evenin All,
Thinking of selling the mighty VS i rebuilt last year. Since then it's barely moved as i just don't have the time and have a company car. Started it up recently and took it for a spin and the cltch has a squealing noise in it, probably the throw out bearing although it's new (replaced during the build) follow this link for the rebuild Olddogs VS 5.0 litre Exec
Its a 5 litre, 5 speed exec, mild head work and genie extractors, 3 cat back, low king springs. I've fitted new King Shimmy mags including the spare since these pics were taken. The roof lining needs to be redone, wheels needs a rebalance, exhaust hits the floor on big bumps so needs to looked at by a zaust specialist, has a squeak in the clutch from sitting so long.
Lots of spare parts and panels.
Anyway, dunno what its worth but want ask a realisitic price but not look desperate about it, whats the opinnion of the collective?
Thanks
OD
Nobody? C'mon guys gimme some love here!
If it had the problems fixed maybe $4-5000 If sold as is then $3000. That's registered.
If sold in a hurry maybe $2000.
My opinion only but your best bet is to sell to someone who knows the car and how much work you've put into it. That way you may get closer to what it's cost you. Modified cars are always harder to sell unfortunately.....easier to sell in the big smoke so you'd get more if you sold it over there.
Thanks Hako, thats the sorta info i was after, and about the price range i was expecting too.
Have to agree with HAKO it's alot of work for such little reward, i'd just keep it as the paint would really put people off.
What type of paint did you use acrilic or 2 pac?
Being out at cobar your probably get a bit more for it then if you were in sydney. I'd whack $5200 ono on it and see how you go, its 5ltr and 5 speed so you can cater towards the nieche market.
