    Default New VR Exec Help???

Hey guys! Well as you might know, my last VR was in an accident and is a write off!

It has new parts and lovely things... which I'm now goingto strip from it
I just got an EXEC vr and I wanted to as a few questions.

I'd really appreciate it if you could help me out!

    1. Can I take my VR Berlina dash and trip computer and install in my exec?
    2. Can I put the power windows in my exec?

    3. I DO have an issue with this car but haven't got a chance to take it to a mechanic.
When I drive it without pushing it, it's all good. But when I really put my foot down, the car seems like is running out of fuel, like stuttering and not revving evenly as if the fuel isn't going in properly.

    Some enlightenment would be great!

    Cheers guys!

    Chris

Your issue with the car could be as simple as a blocked fuel filter.

As for your first question, yes, you can do it. To do the power windows though, you will have to swap BCM's, which also means swapping key heads as the key heads match the BCM.

Ah sweet sweet, well I hope it's nothing to big!

I think I will be doing the change for the power windows and dash! I want my trip computer etc haha!

What do you think the costs of such a venture would be?
    Cheers

Shouldn't cost you anything but time. Unless you pay someone else to do it.

Well I've written myself a list off things to swap on the cars

    *Rear light casings
*Boot holders (can't remember the name of the things that hold it up lol)
*Dash (To have trip comp etc
    *Power windows
    *Buy a SOUND SYSTEM
    *Cut and polish

    Phew... I can't wait

Can't you use the front end off the red one to repair the silver one? It doesn't look that bad.....

yeah it's possible. But I rather just do up the red one, I like the colour, it has nearly no issues (my berlina had a few *trans and so on and then.. anyways)

And it'll be cool to do this one up to berlina specs without it saying it anywhere hahaha!

I like the colour heaps better too

Ok! So my issue is apparently the fuel injectors *took them off the other car and put them in this one* cost me $80. No complaints here woo!

Getting me sound system tomorow so all good and moving on track

Mate in all honesty, it would be a better idea to make a thread in the my ride section. I am not having a stab at you, just for keeping us all updated on your car, its easier for both us to read and you to post all in the one thread. Post in here I guess if you are having actual problems, like you are with the fuel injectors. This isn't really the place to start a thread with pics of your car and what you want to do to it, like you have in another thread I just saw.
Ending on a bright note, unlucky with the Berlina, but good luck with the mods on the new one.
