Replacing water pump in VS ute

Replacing the fuel pump in my VS S Ute.

I know you have to take the panel out of the tray and remove the fuel tank.

Any more tips or advice or instruction would be very handy.
Couldn't find a manual at short notice.

ummmm..................... water pump or fuel pump dude?, ive replaced the water pump twice in my old ute and i didnt go anywhere near the fuel tank lol

if water, i might be able to give you some tips but i never touched the fuelpump so wouldnt know.

much easier to get out if the tank is off, also do it when the tank is near empty! the pump is on the side of the tank.

Turned out to be pretty easy.

Take out the tank and the pump is inside.
Quick job.
