VS BCM into VR??
basically i wanna put a VS high bcm into a VR tried it once but when i turned the key the engine turned over but wouldnt start do i need a vs ecu aswell any dramas i might run into??? if it makes any difference its a 5.0ltr and both bcms are from a 5.0ltr
Yep they arent compatable, serial link between bcm and ecu uses a different type of communication it needs to get engine to start so one wont work with another model...so you will have to get a vs ecu to work with a vs bcm.
