    Default Were's this hose go?

I found this small hose at the back of my engine the other day. Doesn't seem to go anywere. The other end just goes somewere though the firewall. Any ideas?

Also, the back end of the fuel pressure regulator (near the fuel rail) has a short length of tubing which doesn't go anywere. Is that the way it's ment to be?

    Che3rs lads...

That big hose is for your heater I think. It connect to the port just above the tube as you can see in the pic.
As to the fuel reg vacc line, that should connect up to the bottom port. Skinny one on top of it..well it's the one bellow it.

Oh I see what your talking about. That one that the metal sticking out is the breather from the trans. It's fine how it is although they normally sit near where the brake lines enters the wheel arch but doesn't really matter. Have you had another trans put it?

Sorry, that empty port sitting there, the brake booster vacc should connect up to it.
Other one is fine with the snout. (trans breather)
Fuel reg vacc should connect up on the first port up above the that brake booster port.

Yea, I had another trans fitted a couple years ago.

Now as I recal, there was some other hose going to the first port up above the brake booster port with the smaller one above it being unterminated.
