booster problem...

i have a small problem with booster .. due the upgrade vt brake.
my car is vr commodore and the vt master cant fit on vr booster

so i need grab a vs booster to fit in also i have ABS on it... will be work well ??

I have just completed the VT master and Booster upgrade.
You are better off getting the VT booster as it is steel, the VS unit is plastic.
You also have to modify the booster mountng, I purchased a modified new booster from Race Brakes Sydney.

Get one from me for a lot less...modified to fit your car.....secondhand but I havent had a dud one yet.

130 + whatever it costs to get it to you usually 15 to 20 ..........with resevoir so the top is level (so it looks factory)on vt/x/y master use au falcon resevoir ...bolts straight up to commodore master or use vs resevoir but you will have to drill and tap new mounting hole in master also maybe upgrade your front strut to master bracket to minimise flex. vt resevoir http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...-vt-master.jpg and vs/au one fitted http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...ooster-001.jpg and vs resevoir fitted to a vt upgrade on a sons vh commodore http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...vh-booster.jpg the vh has only vp finned calipers and a disc rear but with qfm pads the car has very good brakes and a hard short pedal....it was far more economical to upgrade to the vt setup than replace the stuffed 1 inch master with the same new part although the hose adapters are a bit steep.

hey, i got the vs booster to fit vt master .. still working well as it will stop the brake quickly .. if the vs booster (plastic) snap or f*^k up, will get vt booster, as im happy with my work with upgrade the brakes .. thanks for all of ur help! cheers ..
