Default Changed the thermostat and climate control is still cold?

I change the thermostat today on my Supercharged V6 VS Statesman as it was sitting on the cold mark for last couple of months and now it sits on the 1/4 mark but the climate control is still blowing cold at 25 degrees is there a way to adjust the climate control to adapt or do i just have to leave it at a higher temp to keep warm?
    Thanks for any help!

Also make sure the radiator fan isn't coming on too early and not giving the car a chance to warm up.

VS Commodores have a habit of getting an air lock in the heater system, not allowing the coolant to circulate to the unit, try emptying the system then refilling it slowly while the motor is running and is warm/hot with the heater turned on. Good luck!

Fan is not coming on til half way up the temp gauge, so don't think it's that.
    Thanks for the help.

Is the temp sensor attached to the heater pipe?

Has the plastic clip with a copper tip thingo held against the heater core copper pipe.

No dont think so - drivers side down low. Follow the copper pipes back from the fire wall.

Also the air mix motor starts to move when the temp is set to 28 deg and up. Just a thought.

Can you get a pic of this and how it's meant to be? I'm getting similar issues.
Also a pic of how the flexy hose connects up (the one coming from the in car sensor on back on C/C). I think it goes to a T piece and connects up to one of the holes down there....I think this could be more my problem actually.

I have a CC heater box in the shed - I'll go take a photo after the footy.

That tube goes to the in car temp sensor in the controller - yeh.

Hmmm could be that the tube is not connected on some cars and not getting the info to the climate system.

I may just have to look at this in more detail in the Holden VQ book...

Nar I got the tube right but that heater sensor with the wire I can't see it anywhere. I can't even seem to find the harness that goes to it...

In the photo the main CC loom is not plugged in.

I'd guess that the plastic clip can snap and the sensor fall away from the copper heater tube.
