Vs a/c button stuck in 'on' position

I am a newbie on these forums so Hi everyone. Can somebody please help.
I have a VS Executive and the A/c on/off button in stuck in the 'on' position - green light is continually on whilst ignition is on. I have had this fault for some time but it has not worried me because I have been turning it off and on via the A/c fan control slider. It all works fine via the slider.
I would like to get at the A/c switch to fix it with the help of a friend (aircraft electrician) but we don't know how to get at the switch. Could somebody please help.

you need too remove that fascia pannel (the one that goes around the instrument cluster ) and pop the swith out from the rear. unplug it and fit the now one. this seems to be a common problem with these switchs, i think the spring inside breaks or somthing.
