Type Of Oil for LPG/Petrol VS 5litre V8

Hey All,
I just recently purchased a VS Ute V8, it has LPG dual system on it.
What type of oil do I need to put in the engine. I am assuming I use the oils that are recommended for LPG?

Depends on the type of driving you do, and the condition of the engine, mileage on it etc...

There are specific LPG engine oils around, but most of them would be too light for the old V8, so I'd just stick with the original specification of 20w/50 oil, and just change it every 5000km, or alternately you can change it at 10,000km intervals as per the original specs... but with LPG running hotter than petrol its probably an idea to change it more often.

I would agree with the advice given by Harvs82. In particular i'd recommend Penrite Gas 20w/60.
