    Default vs v6 ecotec engin reco/mods

    Hi all,

    Vs V6 3.8 litre engine reco/mods

    Do all you think this sounds good and if i missed any thing in the process just say so plz..if there is a brand which is mentioned and is no good plz tell me..some items have no brand name just classed as performance..and if someone could recemend a good brand for a listed part greatly appreciated.thanks in advance

    BLOCK CHEMICALLY CLEANED, CRACK TESTED, DECKED
    REBORED AND HONED TO PERFORMANCE TOLERANCES. 0.40 thro
    CRANK GROUND AND LINISHED.
    NEW WELSH PLUGS,
    HEADS FULLY RECONDITIONED, BRONZE GUIDES, 3 ANGLE VALVE GRIND, BACK CUT VALVES, BOWL PORTED AND FLOWED.

    1 X SET ACL PERFORMANCE PISTONS AND RINGS.9.5:1 COMP
    1 X SET YELLA TERRA ROLLER ROCKERS.
    1 X SET ACL MAIN AND CONROD BEARINGS.
    1 X Clive Roller 228 /228@50 Hydraulic Cam 2800 -6500 rpm.
    1 X SET OF PERFORMANCE VALVE SPRINGS AND VALVES
    1x Rollmaster Red timing chain and gears SINGLE ROW
    12 x Hydraulic lifters
    1 x FULL GASKET SET
    1 X PERFORMANCE PUSHROD SET
    1 X performance CONROD SET

    yeah you missed the oil mods.

    Get some work done to your sump to stop the oil going up into the crank and turing to foam (Baffling) I think its called plus there is something you can put across the mains to stop cap walk and another restrictor plate with a few holes in it to stop the oil flying to the back of the sump, talk to some engine builders and they will know more.

    It might not be relevant for your build, thats just some info I picked up from one of my mates.
