pull it off, clean it really well with wax and grease remover (Wax on / Wax off style with a seperate clean rag)

get one of those red light abrasive pads from a car paint shop or even autobarn, scuff it up nice and dull with some soapy water of course, clean again.

Spray some plastic adhesion promoter/primer on it, coat it with a can of touch up paint in your cars color.

Thats just my guess, but there are a few pro painters on here that would know for sure.

For mine , i used some wax and grease remover , then got some fine sand paper about 1200 i think? , then used some touch up paint , then used some clear top coat over it .
    came up a treat

Oh, sorry forgot the clear, then again I didn't think the "solid" color commodores got a clear coat? thought that was only the mica paints?

Good cut n polish should bring the shine up though, then again, just a guess.
