Not too hard at all. You will need spring compressors though if yours isn't lowered.

With the car on the ground, crack the top nut on the strut, but don't remove it.
Jack the car up and support it with the suspension hanging.
    Remove the wheels.
Undo the stabilizer bar link pins.
Remove the brake line from the bracket on the strut by twisting it until it slides out. (The black plastic holder has two flats on it that slide out through the bracket.)
Undo the two bolts that mount the strut to the stub axle.
Undo the top nut all the way, holding the strut so it doesn't drop out.
Support the assembly in a vice and crack the retaining nut on top of the strut.
Compress the spring until the nut is loose and remove it.
Remove each part of the bush and bearing making sure to keep them in order so you get them back in in the right order.
    Remove the spring.

    Assembly is the reverse.

While not essential, it is recommended to get a wheel alignment done as you have undone the bolt where the camber is adjusted.

rofl, omfg.... reminds me of how my friends at a wreckers tried to undo a strut and launch the spring succesfully into a seat so they could buy it, instead it barely missed someones head and ended up through a car window.

hahaha I know what your saying.... just like when I was using one of those home made bush removers doing my bushes and missing my dad's dead by a cm fark that was crazy... not only freaked him out, but me as well. We both needed a strong drink after that one lol.

the front struts are one piece including the shock. you have to buy the whole thing, but they are not expensive anyway.
