was wondering how do you find the exhaust with just a hotdog? i was thinking of getting just a hotdog but few people reckon it will be way to loud so yeh just wanted to know if sounds alright and if its quite loud?
    thanks

yeah its quite loud man, especially with no music playing haha

getting the hotdog is a cheap alternative to getting a full system, it does sound good man

Also have been contemplating doing this but still haven't got round to it yet, probably due to the fact i still don't know what i should do

Main question i have is whats the drone like? And at what particular revs? Also do you get much unwanted attention or isn't it that loud?

Last of all what is your opinion, straight through muffler or a hotdog?

    Thanks and nice ride
    Matt.

when the cars idle it isnt that loud, just a nice little growl (cant expect anything loud @ idle without extractors anyway)

around 3 to 4 revs is when its most loudest

my mate drives it around and you can defiantly hear it coming, i havent been pulled over for it yet so it cant be that bad (fingers crossed haha)

On another note, another pic of the ride height

i like the look of this its heaps clean and the colour is one you dont see often, those chroms exterior handles looks really good. theres one thing i think looks bad in that first photo and thats the rusted rotors. should paint them black or silver. i think that will finish off that pic really well

    Hey tristanjp,

Love the car. I own a 94 VR as well, and the paint is still as shiny as a new car is. Gotta love the 94's paint it never fades. Also, just wondering what the "hotdog" is? I know a bit about exhaust systems etc but not to sure on what this is. Obviously its a after market item. Just wondering how much/general jist of what it does.

    Cheers.
