Default 1997 VS Series 2 Commodore Equipe

    Hey,

Here is my VS Commodore, i'm still on my L's for a few more months so I decided to start taking the car out for a spin more often now.

Model: 1997 Series 2 VS Commodore
    Badge: Equipe
    Colour: White
Kilometres: 150,000 Just ticked over 160,000
    Bodykit: Stock
    Engine Type: Automatic V6 Ecotec
    Engine Mods:
    Exhaust: goes vrooom

No current mods although I have changed the majority of all the lights to LED's and driving lights to xenon bulbs. Other than the head unit, there really is no difference to stock.

In future I plan to; get a new exhaust, new tailights for sure, new rims, maybe dump the rear and do that air intake mod thing... Nothing too special really as I'm planning on buying a motorbike once I get my bike learners. -_-

Thanks xD. I'm thinking of taking all the badges off and maybe painting the strips around the car white or black. The rear garnish I think i will only paint if I end up getting altezza tail lights

Yeh, I was using an SLR. The only reason why i'd get altezza lights is because my importer gets them cheaper than normal lights. I'm trying to find some nice second hand calais ones though.
The handbrake cover was the worthy 50 cents in the Philippines xD.

Social, your cars really nice, I like the missing strips =P

The black strips that go right around the car, you've removed the front and rear ones from the bumpers. I think thats what they're called lol

    Thanks.

Lately, i've removed a few of the badges and doing a mould test with black lining instead of the stock green colour, just wanna test to see if it will come off after a few washes before removing the moulds completely.

I still wtb some calais tailights and need to call my insurance company to see what are the largest rims I can put on and whether or not I can change the exhaust tip. Trying to keep it P1 legal.

Also, once I figure how to remove the rotory point on my wipers I will be painting those black.. original paints cracked off from the sun making it a wierd looking white.

VicRoads don't have records of my number plates being changed a while ago and won't allow me to swap them for new ones. Trying to get slimlines without paying the initials.. so theres no plates on it either

    P1 laws suck
i'm on mine for another 3 weeks

some of the guys say there's a loop hole, that its only the engine you carn't modify,
so you can put in a exhaust but i dought it

    Wink Update

Changed the green stripe to black - not permanent yet but will paint it up soon.

I know, lowering is next on the list.

Going to remove tow bar ball, leaving the bar. Exhaust after lowering.

Picked these up today - got a good deal so I'm happy

JC Sticker xD May need to re-apply a new one, this ones coming off...

Installed some kevlar splits, 12" sub in trunk.

    My cage

So far, lowering will be $400 through the tyre factory (financed?) and the exhaust for $280 from Trufit.
BUT before I do this I need to flush the power steering & transmission. I may also want to fix that rear bumper from when mum hit the fence...

    Thanks for looking guys.
