    Was like 135rwkw last time, this time read lower on the first 3 initial power log runs, highest was 127rwkw. So it's a decent pick up.

    It actually cracked 140rwkw at one stage when he was playing with the air fuel mixtures, hit like 141.2 or something lol.

    I think it's got a bit more in it than that since it feel off the peak a bit early, a couple things don't add up there but anyway 10 rwkw it's ok, it's about what you would have expected. How come you lost power with your plug change? did you change brands or anything like that? ran a different fuel?

    Nah same fuel, same plugs. NGK's.

    If i get a 70mm TB, does the TB neck have to be ported in order for it to work the best?

    There's only about 2mm difference between the neck and the 70 mm throttle so you can just stuff a rag in the intake then file it easy enough. Then vaccum the shavings out and wipe it etc. I never bothered with mine since I was in a hurry to get to the drags the day I put my 70mm on but I'll fix that up next time it's off. The Holden/HSV CAI is often a little bit of a restriction so that maybe the issue too

    Ahhh sweet, will worry about filing it later, if i get my current one bored out, might get them to bore out the neck at the same time or see if they have them already ported. Saves me stuffing around, then it's just bang straight on and touch up.

    Got it done at Hallam Performance mate, they charge $1250 for the software upgrade / dyno time and $150 an hour after the initial tune for any touch ups.

    You get what you pay for IMO though. I am very pleased with how it drives now. Very pleased. Gonna buy a 70MM TB this week and book it in for a touch up.

    The much cheaper option is get a flash tune from Greenfoam, they are pretty good too!

    Buying a 70mm throttle body this week, book it in for a touch up on the dyno after it's been fitted, then gonna start hunting around for an LSD diff that i'll send off to have rebuilt and the LSD tightened, then throw that in the VS.

    Not worrying about shorter diff gears, can't be ****ed with speedo recalibration etc, just want a nice fresh LSD that's as tight as a nun's bits.

    Would running 98 octane fuel account for more of a power gain? I was running BP 95 octane for this tune. I have heard mixed things about running 98, some say it will give a fair whack more power on the dyno reading, some say it barely does much at all.

    As it will be going back in for a touch up in the next 3 weeks for a bigger TB, i might start running 98 through it this week and see if it makes a difference.

    I run mine on 98 mate, and i felt the difference after a while cause the prevous owner only used the cheap stuff, let us know if theres much gain from the 70m TB ive been thinking of getting one for ages.

    Well i'm getting a 70mm TB because mine has been dyno tuned, they can make a car go a bit funny without a tune if you throw a bigger TB on i hear.

    Just ordered and payed for a 70mm polished TB, should have it by next monday at the latest (express postage once the payment clears). Then i'll book the car in for a dyno touch up with the bigger TB and 98RON fuel. Should hopefully crack 140rwkw.

    Car is booked in for next saturday for a dyno tune touch up for running a bigger TB and 98RON fuel.

    awesome , itl be good to see how much of a difference there actually is in putting one on, i know when i put mine on my v6 it wrecked a couple of shift points but if flat footed it the power snap was alot harsher, deffinently felt like more power but took it off as i was sick of loosing first gear after 2000revs
