my 1993 vr ss 5 speed

hey everyone had a day off today so i decided to post my car on here 4 u all to see.

year:1993
make/model: vr ss
colour: white
engine: 304 5L
transmission: 5 speed manual
brakes: stock with polished calipers to make them look pretty
diff: stock
exhaust: genie extractors single 2.5" with single muffler
suspension: front king SSL lowered sturts and shocks, rear king SSSL with 4 point camber kit and lowered shocks
interior: stock
sterio: clarion dvd head unit and the usual 6x9's and 6.5" in doors and single sub in the boot in a custom enclosure, all speakers r amped so its loud enough
mods: no engine mods so to speak. custom air intake and a dick load of polishing and a touch of colour here and their to brighten things up a bit.
future mods: vt brake upgrade and probably a respray in the near future. not real keen on playing with 2 much else as i would prefer to keep it as origional as possible.

thanks guys i do my best 2 keep he in good nick its a bit hard 2 read but the taco reads 132 784 pretty low ks 4 a 93 model it had 116 000 on it when i purchased it nearly 2 yrs ago.. if anyone can tell me how to put a vid up i have a couple vids of me cutting loose on the skid pan last month at a skid pan day that was held recently

yeah believe it or not that was stock suspension just really really sagged and the shocks were completly stuffed lol

Very nice mate, mine only has 140,000 ks on it now, its hard finding these in good condition these days.

thanks mate yeah i dont know what to do with it sum times i wonder if i should just de rejester it and put it in the shed so i dont run anymore ks up on it lol but i like driving it 2 much so that will never happen ur car looks sick man i love the red vr/vs ss's they looks so tough and the paint is so freakin shiny lol thats the only bummer about white u can only do so much with it it will never bling like the red or black ones.

I had a white vs x chaser years ago and no matter what i did it just never looked shiny but then at night time it looked chrome lol

yeah i had 2 sell my vh daily driver last year cause i broke my leg and had no income 4 over 9 months so i couldnt keep both cars rejestered so now i only have the ss to drive and the k's are slowly clocking there way up lol my uncle is a x panel beater/ car detailer he owned his own panel shop 4 over 15yrs i asked him what i could do 2 make it stand out from all the other white cars and he said the new white paints they use on cars is all clear over base colour to give it a wet glossy look so in the near future when he has time i might give her a spray and see how it comes up. i know what u mean it looks soooo good just on dark the white really stands out so bright and under fluro lights at night they look really good

well im in a bit of a bother with what to do with my car right now i got offered a vr gts last week 4 a pretty good price and im really considering doin a deal with this guy... but i would have to sell my ss to make room and have cash 2 buy the gts... the only thing thats turning me off the gts is that its auto and its done nearly 200, 000 k's but other wise its really clean and is stock as it came out of the factory with the factory stroker motor and hydratrack irs and all the jazz that they put in hsv commodores.. and the story goes with it is that its supposed to be a one of a kind colour cause its the vs gts blue and the guy selling it is the origional owner and he maintains that he orded a blue one and they told him that they didnt make a blue vr gts and he would have to wait till the vs model come out later that year but he insisted he wanted a blue one and wanted it now so they did a special order bule one 4 him ................... i recon the old guy is full of shit with the colour story but u neva know? lol has anyone else seen a blue vr gts before? it would be pretty hard to tell a vr and vs appart tho from just a glance of them both...... but pretty much that is my option at the moment sell the ss and get the gts which is stock as a rock and auto .... or keep the ss and look after it as best i can... its a tough one lol
