Looks good mate, like the paintjob on it
Personally, I'd lose the black bumper moulds. I think it'd clean it up a bit better.
Most people will tell you a V8 is much more worthwhile doing, but do you want to spend money on an engine AND mods, or just mods?

The VZ is here! About time!
Well i like the black trolley strips on the sides, it neatly separates the colours, but i agree with you about the tape around the bumper. Although i dunno whether to take it off cause the paint would probably be bad underneath. If i got an 8 i'd cam it before it went in, but yeah i would need new exhaust etc.
pwoah so clean so fresh

and manual!!!! gotta love that!
Thanks for the input guys. The chrome strips, do you mean the window surrounds or the side moulds?
Looks really good! Its worth going a v8 once you are sick of the v6 or once you blow up a v6!
Wow, so clean. The paint on that looks great

i think he means the side moulds.. by y not both? they would both set ur car off even better![]()
Cool. I like the chrome, but i've spent heaps on looks and handling i think it needs some grunt now. Might put the chrome on the back burner. You guys reckon a silver SS kit would work, or should i keep it calais looking?
Soon on the ajenda is spacing those back wheels out again. See how they're set in a bit? It's running a VLT diff and those 235's only just fit, but it would handle better with a wider wheel spacing.
Definately needs the calais chrome or even s2 calais body coloured strips in the bumpers and on the doors.
Well this 'Calais' is a little different. I like it alot champ.
That silver looks alot lighter than the Shadow grey that Holden used on its two tone models.
Have you driven a super6, there pretty extreme bits of gear, when i was planning my conversion i thought about a V8 but the super6 was much easier to do and better performance with only bolt on modifications.
Drive a super6 before you seal the deal

Looks good mate. I reckon go for a cruise in a super6 and make ya mind up from there,
gotta love those rims![]()
manual calais!! ive never seen one
bloody nice
definately go the ss kit looks soo good on vs calais
was wondering did u find there was a lot of gain from the higher diff gears?
Thanks guys, i've never driven a super6 or a V8, and i dont know anyone who owns either so it's a little difficult. I've still got over 18 months on P's so i'll just go the compression/cam for the time being, it'll only cost me a few hundred all up. Then i guess i'd be up for new heads and cam if i went for a supercharger.
That's because technically it's an esteem, and i converted it to manual
Difference was massive when i swapped the original diff for an LSD 3.7, especially pulling out of corners.
fair out that is soo nice yeah i reckon a ss kit keeping with the calais paint will looks sweet, and with ur questions about the motor def go a v8 over a na six although a super six is quicker than a na v8 so i would go super six but hey its all up to u
If Barbie's so popular, why do you have to buy all her friends?
nice ride. wish i had of kept my calais and did something to it. love the vs calais
