lmfao no they are not, you cant tint tail-lights like that, hopefully the cops dont see or those mods will be waiting till you get a RWC again LOL! not like i can talk though, my cars dumped to the ground lol.

nice car, just a heads up, ive been told throttle bodies are useless for a v6 engine, although i do have one too lols.

recomends. change chrome tip firstly. and paint the back garnish (same colour as car)

    clean car mate, nice pickup.

okay with the chrome tip on your exhaust, chuck a 2.5" tip on there, even with a stock exhaust you get a tone of an ecotech engine by doing that. and maybe change back muffler if you havnt already done that.

with the garnish, just unbolt it take it off, spray it with plastic primer, let it dry for like 20 mins, then afew coats of paint (same colour as car - get exact colour from under your bonnet) give it afew coats, then spray some lacka over the top (lacka will make it shine) wait afew days, then cut n' polish it, and it will look like most of the other paint.

yeah the throttle body is ashame, i still have mine on, personally, after removing the plastic restrictor, i could feel the difference, but if you dont want to remove the restrictor, i wouldnt put the throttle on.

also i'd debadge the entire car, gives it a nice clean look.

could i take this plastic restrictor off the factory throttlebody

personally i like my lion badges, im thinkin of dicing the acclaim badge though.

with the exhaust, change the rear muffler? i was thinking dice it? but it might sound shit, i was also keen on dicing the resinator? what do you think? and your opinion on a tip as i dont know what exact one to go for.
this would only be temporary, as my uncle owns a muffler shop and the only thing thats stoppiung me from getting a lukey 2.5inch is the restricted cash flow lol

You say you're getting a VZ Storm steering wheel, I've wanted too get a new steering wheel for a VERY long time, MY VR Acclaim standard is ugly as crap, does the air bag still work ?

And how much you picking one of them up for ? How do they fit? Whats nessasary?

i think for the steering wheel you just need to get a boss kit to fit it, dont think you will need a new stearing rack lols. but i may be wrong.

umm i have twin dump pipes on my vr, gives a nice look, also the vt exhaust is really nice too.
i reckon you're best to save and get the full exhaust, it well worth it.

yeah u CAN take the resistor out, i did mine, and car runs harder, and no problems have arrised, the place i got my throttle body off told me to do that for more power lols.

Josheh i think Adriianz is right about the steeringwheel. believe it or not its for free of my mates dads crewman storm.

wait up this restrictor your talking about, it woulndt happen to be the bellmouth, i think thats what its called, thatt the buick motors have? if thats the case ecotech dont have them?

id assume you weould need a modified one , your best bet is to contact a holden dealer and they will tell you exactly what you need, then just buy the parts (wreckers or ebay) would be best to buy from at a good price.

ahh yes you're right, i forgot you had an ecotech lols. im not sure if they have them, i doubt they will. but in that case, i think the throttle will be too big for the neck of the throttle, you'd most likely need to buy an aftermarket neck to get its full performance out, not 100% sure, but i'd assume so.

Josheh once i get around to playing with the steering wheel ill let you know how it goes. but if your like me and cant wait for anything id would follow Adriianz advice.

yeah ecotech doesnt have it, im pretty sure theres actually a thread about the bellmoth lol.

i remember hearing about the throttlebodies not fitting ecotech come to think about it. im still pretty keen on it though. but my top priority is rego and rims, then exhaust, then whatever comes next

agreed, rims lower, tint = a nice look, other things are just add ons pretty much.

there are throttle bodies for VS ecotech engines, they are 190$ from a place that i know that supplies them, ill grab their card and give you their number if you like, just for when you're ready to get one.

honestly, the first few things i would do for a vs ecotech, change exhaust, tint windows, and dump it. if this is your first car, dont go crazy and go for brand new rims for 2grand, just grab some 500$ rims of ebay or off the forsale section here, personally, i think internationals would look great.

also abit of advice, my mate just got canaried for tinted tailights like yours, i suggest getting rid of them if you plan on cruising around on weekends late at night.
