hey not much following on this but ohwell.

no updates yet just keeping it clean and sorting out little problems and such and jsut enjoying it.

ive got some funds together and im looking for some new rims.

ive narrowed it down to 2 sets. (open to suggestions)
VE gts: they make it look a bit more racey kind of?? Like it has something special which it does not.

VY Sigs: make it look a little cleaner and a real cruisey look to it.

not the best photo chops but gives the idea

    any opinions wanted

    Thanks guys

on your perticular ute mate, i would go with the sigs, but unfortunatly they have been overdone heaps, so not very original. however they still do look good, and if its what ya want, go for it

    Here we go big update.
well i ended up going with neither of those rims. went down to the tyre factory had a look . They were really helpful down there. we got the car up on the stand and tried a few different wheels. Eventually i settled on these ones. 19x8.5 in the front and 19x9.5 in the rear. Also painted one of the door handles body colour other one will be done soon

    In the Shop

    after a quick clean.

    can you say DISH??

up next will be rego then a tune and hopefully lowered a bit.
    enjoy guys.

the size is 245's all round. so for the rears i can go 265 i think??. There is enough clearance for now but once it gets lowered the guards will need to be rolled.

well not too much to update but i now have to go back to the interceptors. i took my car to the mechanic for a tune and new pads and so on. My mechanic has informed me that the offset of these wheel i have on is totally wrong. What i though was tyre rubbing was actually the rim hitting so it was steel on steel.
I will be going back to the tyre factory tomorrow to state my issue to see if i can possibly get a refund/ exchange. I would have thought a professional would know correct offsets for wheels and which make and model they suit. My feeling is though that i will just end up having to sell these overall not very happy

it was the tyre factory in bayswater. Its not that they are dodgey but that they didnt care if it fitted or not just as long as they made a sale. I though the salesman would have know if they were suitable or not. I wish i had of known then what i do now about wheel fitments

your p plates wont effect the legality of things they just have to be legal full stop.

Good news they are getting swapped over for some nice 18's tomorrow free of charge.
