Debadged the rear already.. I wanna leave the Holden symbol on it though..
Ecotec is just that little bit newer I guess...

Had a minor setback today.. Bought boot lights off ebay coz mine are faded bad and just realised they don't fit.. I think they might be Lexcen tail lights.. they're not rounded enough..

yeah lexcen are the same, but with vs tail lights never seem to line up right its gay, and thats a long time on ur p's, anyway u want to get urself some new, second hand calais/berlina tail lights please don't get the rice lights lol so get rid of the lexcen ones they are gay too

Some clear guard indicators + 1.5" Lower in the back an It'll be MINT!

Possibly some S/ss Front/Back/Side skirts just to give it that FAT look.

Gonna get ultra lows one day....
Gotta get interior light & central locking fixed first... then rims.. then upgrade sound system.. then get ss body kit... then ultra lows... ^^

Got clear indicators today.. as well as tyre shine! and a pink Playboy sticker for the rear window as a present from my bf ^^
Had Gabriel front shocks and urethane sway bar link bushes put in on Tuesday too... Was driving round for 2 or so days with a funny clunking noise in the front end... Turns out the bushes on the end of the sway bar links had actually disappeared ALLTOGETHER! lol......

There are many things you can do, but to be honest alot are viewed as "terrible" modifications...

As a girl, you know you will be offered so much "advice" from everyone...

If you want a respray, ask yourself, why? Where do you take the car? What body work would you get done whilst in there?

I would be looking at putting a nice, well fitting, body kit, if you were painting the car, nothing over the top, just something to remove the "standard" look of the body shape...

Also, newer head lights and driving lights make a huge difference to the front end of the car, the clear altezza style tail lights on the other hand, arent always a good modification, the standard ones clean up really well and follow the body lines better...

Clean up the engine bay, hide the wiring a bit, and look at some polised alloy parts like, the air intake pipe, fuse box cover, strut tower tops, and a peice that covers from the radiator support panel over the top of the radiator, it makes a huge difference...

Clean up the interior, this doesnt mean you need to paint all the plastics a different colour, just clean them up, make sure the seat fabric and carpets and in good condition, and look at newer style seats in the same colour rather than spending excess amounts on re-trimming...

These are just little things that the boys look at doing with cars that they drive on a regular basis...at the end of the day, its only my advice

I want a respray as my paintwork is stuffed.. The previous owner didn't care too much about the car and as a result it's full of scratches.. I also want my car to stand out.. And I have a passion for purple! I'm contemplating getting a VS senator kit for it, I like the fat look it gives the car..
Newer headlights is something I haven't really thought of before but now that you mention it, it makes a lot of sense.. I need a new indicator on the front right anyway as the previous owner hit something and the lense is cracked now.. Might research into trying to fit newer model headlights in...
Might leave the engine bay as is for now as once I'm off my P's I'm gonna do a fair bit of engine work.. until then, the hood stays shut haha.
As I said before, previous owner didn't care about the car so the carpet is stuffed and the seats aren't that good either... Wanting to upgrade to stato seats but a bit unsure on the leather... Leather looks good but tends to be hot in summer and cold in winter...
I've already got the purple roof lining though! ^^

looks tuff with the wheel combo..never seen black ceptors w/ silver centre caps and chrome rings..looks good i rkn......if ur on a budget i wud slam it on ultra lows, get LSD or if ur even on a REAL tight budget get a locked diff LOL and performance chip...then u will have some fun and cops wont no a thing bout mods coz u cant see them........cheers
